Yonex BG68Ti Badminton String Now Discontinued!

I have just been advised by my string suppliers that Yonex have announced that they are discontinuing their BG68Ti badminton string.

Yonex have recently added several new strings to their range (Aerosonic, Aerobite, Aerobite Boost, Skyarc and Exbolt63 to name a few) and so it was inevitable that they would drop at least one of the older strings from the range.

I know that a few of you do regularly use BG68Ti (this is a 0.68mm gauge string) and whilst I have a couple of sets in stock, once that has gone then I shan’t be able to restock it. I would however recommend either the Yonex BG65Ti (0.70mm gauge) or if you want to stay with a 0.68mm gauge Yonex string then BG80 or BG80 Power are very good alternatives. There are other 0.68mm possibilities from other manufacturers too, such as Ashaway Zymax 68TX, Victor VBS-68 or Babolat ifeel68. All are great strings (I wouldn’t stock them if they weren’t!).
