As you may have noticed I keep a very large range of badminton strings in stock and in the main these are from the well known manufacturers such as Ashaway, Yonex and Li-Ning. I also have strings from Gosen, RAB, Carlton and Babolat in stock (and even a few not on my website such as Apacs and Prince) but am now stocking a new hybrid string from Luxilon (a name more familiar to tennis players). The main strings will use Luxilon Super Sense Monogut 0.67mm and cross strings are Wilson Smash Multifilament 0.66mm. The two colours used are gold and lime. For obvious reasons only racquets that can be strung using the two string (4 knots) method are suitable. Not all racquets have sufficient tie off holes for this and so some have to be strung in one continuous piece of string so that there are only two knots therefore it will not be possible to use hybrid strings on those racquets. Unfortunately the string is quite expensive so a re-string will cost £24 but it may well be worth trying as the reviews of the tension holding capabilities of the Luxilon Super Sense Monogut are very positive.
